Beth Ciotta

There's nothing worse than writing a bio. Wait. Yes, there is. Writing a synopsis. Creating a condensed version of an unwritten tale essentially equals (in my opinion) pulling a story out of your butt. Like I said... painful. But for my sisters, I will endure.
I'm the oldest of seven kids. Six of those seven are girls. I know what you're thinking. Our poor brother! Naw. Just makes him all that more special!
Three of us left our small town roots to pursue careers as singers. Me, being the oldest, blazed the trail. Brenda followed soon after, and then Barb. They're probably cursing me to this day. A career in the arts is unstable to say the least. But did they learn? No! Now they're following me into the murky publishing waters. But you know what? They have a gift for storytelling, just as they do for singing. I'm so proud!
As for me, I'm currently living my dream (my second dream since that whole rock star thing didn't work out.) writing romantic adventures for HQN Books (Harlequin). I'm a member of RWA (Romance Writers of America), NJRW, and NINC (Novelist, Inc). Oh, and I've won a couple of awards. You can learn more than you ever wanted to know about me by visiting my website. Meanwhile, I plan to have a blast here at SIS. I do hope you join us time and again. We're a fun lot. Spastic, but fun.

I know what you're thinking. How could I, with my blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair, possibly be related to those two brown-eyed brunette beauties on either side of me? Fortunately for me, I am. They are both so extremely talented and I am honored to be in their company.
I seem to have the need to be creative. With the help of big sis Beth, I left home soon after high school graduation to become a rock star. I lived that dream for the next 23 years and finally decided I was ready to move on. My husband and I started a re-modeling business which allows me to be creative with my hands... tiling, painting, building... whatever comes our way.
Although I enjoy this immensely, I feel I still have room for more creativity. I've long toyed with the idea of writing a children's book, and little sis Barb re-sparked my interest when she started her own writing venture. After one particularly bad day, I sat down and started to pen what will hopefully be my first novel. Not a children's book though. A mystery (with a little bit of romance), I am hoping. It's all new to me, but with some determination, my crazy mind, and the help of my sisters, I believe this could be an incredible journey! I hope you'll come along for the zany ride!

Writing as Elle J Rossi...
Singer? Yep! Entertainer? Yep! Writer? You guessed it…Yep!

It seems that whatever my fellow sisters here do, I’ve got to try it too. Actually, I think we’re triplets separated by just a few years. Poor, poor Mother. But back to me!

I’m also a wife and a mother of two, trying to balance family life with a full time job and a desire to write so that the world, the entire world, will read my stuff! I’m a member of RWA National and my local chapter of WisRWA. After a bazillion years of reading anything and everything I can get my hands on, I’m giving it a shot myself by trying to learn as much as I can and become the best writer I can be.

My stuff? Well… Right now I’d call it Contemporary Romance with a Paranormal twist, but who knows how it will evolve. It’s one wild ride, that’s for sure!

Drop by my website to learn more.

Beverly (B.J) Parker

I will let my sisters duke it out over who is the pretty one because I'm the mysterious sister. The one who believes in the supernatural, paranormal and the mystical.

I am the mother of two beautiful, blond-haired, blue-eyed daughters, Smurfette and Monster. Why Smurfette? Ask Barb. Why Monster? She has the most angelic face, but loves to fight me over everything. She's my little monster.

Though I don't get to read as often as I would like, when I get the chance it is usually a fantasy novel. I love to be taken into different worlds full of magic.

I write poetry under the name, Aleena Ravenwood. W.B. Yeats is my favorite poet. I love the Celtic themes he uses in his poetry.

I would like to thank my wonderful sisters for asking me to join the SIS site. This should be fun!!!!

Writing about yourself is freaking hard! Why do I have to write a bio? Oh, yeah. Because my sisters (I’m the 6th of 7 kids) asked me to and I always do what my sisters tell me. Not. But since they invited me to play here, I guess I should play nice.

Here goes.

When I was growing up, I dreamed of being a singer. It sort of runs in the family. Only I got sidetracked by starting a family of my own. Setting my dream aside, I spent several years working my way up in the auto industry, ultimately landing the job of finance director. I was feeling pretty lucky until the economy went in the dumper. Now I’m working my way up again—only this time I’m a partner in a newly formed dealership marketing company, a job that entails traveling all over the country. My new dream/goal is to build the company to where I’ll be able to work from home and have more quality time with loved ones. Speaking of . . .

I'm the mother of three beautiful girls and head over heels for an amazing man. I like reading, shopping, interior decorating, a good blood mary, and singing Belgian Folk songs. Just kidding about the Belgian Folk Songs, but I am a darn good singer and dancer. I also dabble in songwriting. Everyone who knows me, loves me--or so they say. And contrary to what Barb says, I'm the pretty sister. (See if she ever asks me to write a bio again!)

The End.

Krys Behrens

SIS's Honorary BRO!

So you want to know a little about me, hmm? Alright, but remember: You asked.

I was born many years ago during an extremely rare astronomical conjunction which was prophecized many centuries before. Abandoned and left to die as a baby by my superstitious parents, I was saved by a pack of wolves, who raised me as one of
their own.....

Okay, I'm exaggerating a little, but you have to admit it would be cool if it was true. Here's the truth, or as much of it as I care to tell: I -was- born many years ago under the sign of Sagittarius, which supposedly makes me frank, optimistic, honest, spiritual, sensual and happy go lucky. Other than 'optimistic' and 'happy go lucky' that's pretty much me.

At an early age, I became interested in pagan religions (No, I'm not a satanist), and the Gothic subculture, both of which have heavily flavored my tastes in music, art, literature and tv/movies, as well as my personality and sense of humor. I love to read gothic/paranormal novels, often having two or three that I've started and not yet finished (Another Sagittarian trait). I would love to be able to write but I've tried and it just doesn't happen. I guess that means I'll have to live vicariously through my SIS's!
